Production Technician
The schedule requires you to be able to work 12-hour shifts rotating days and nights, working 3 or 4 days/week in a tobacco and drug-free environment.
The jobs include the following:
- Glass Handler - packs glass onto racks
- Automation line operator- operates and monitors the automation/robot equipment
- Offline cutting system operator- operates an independent auto/cutting system
- Driver- operates powered industrial vehicles safely moving racks of glass
- Closing Inspector- verifies that the glass meets customer specifications
- Closer- closes racks of glass using various packaging materials
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Tape measure reading and basic math skills
- Basic computer skills and the ability to navigate on a computer in a windows-based environment
- Able to safely lift 50 pounds
- Desire to work in a team environment
- Manufacturing experience is preferred and training is provided
- Pass a pre-employment physical, and drug test including hair follicle.
Schedule and Pay:
- 12-hour rotating shift schedule - 2 weeks of days and 2 weeks of nights including every other weekend.
- Starting wage is $17.90/hour for day shifts and $19.90/hour for night shifts. Wage increases (based on successful performance evaluations) after six months.
